Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes
January 2, 2013
1. CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Hal Ferguson - Chairman & Rick Micklon present (Absent - Lenny Adler)
2. FLAG SALUTE:
Audience and Board members saluted the flag.
3. ACTION ON MINUTES:
A. Meeting minutes from December 19, 2012. *Motion to accept minutes. RM/HF– Unanimous.
4. SPECIAL EVENTS

10. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Municipal Garage update: RM: Painting has been completed. A list of tools and equipment is being processed by LA & Richard Bean. Mark Grover is building a custom bench and Road Commissioner plans to purchase a portable metal bench that can be moved away from the wall when needed. Keys are available and numbered. Insurance is only allowing a few individuals to have a key.
B. Garage Exhaust Fan Proposal: RM: A change order from Building Solutions was received to add a cover over the exhaust fan. Cost will include materials, labor to build & install, scissor lift rental and trucking. *Motion to sign the Change order from Building solutions totaling $1,053.89 HF/RM – Unanimous.
11. SELECTMEN’S ITEMS TO BE DISCUSSED & VOTED ON
A. Town Warrant: *Motion to sign Warrant #12 to pay the town bills. RM/HF; Unanimous.
B. Snowplowing Contracts: HF: Contracts for 2012-2013: The (2) contractors include: Glenn Pastore and Richard Bean, Jr. Both have been approved as independent contractors by the Workers Compensation Board *Motion to sign contracts. RM/HF – Unanimous.
12. QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD
A. Town Garage: RM: They never plumbed for a future valve control within the utility room for an exterior wood boiler. We should be able to use oil or propane, we are heating w/ oil. The contractor will stub one, at no charge, in for a potential exterior wood boiler.
B. Town Garage: RM: The propane generator should be coming on or around January 15th.
C. Winter carnival: (Saturday) February 16h. HF: Arts and crafts will be held at the Town Office. Community Hall will be used for making sleds on February 10th.
13. ADJOURNMENT at 7:25PM. *Motion by HF 2nd by RM Unanimous.
